Hi!
Nice to meet you - I’m Sarah. For as long as I can remember I have loved colour, pattern, making things and simply being creative. I am self taught so everything I do comes from a place of curiosity, own-learning and - most importantly - my heart.
After years working in the pension industry the stars aligned in 2026 and I had the chance to pursue my dream of sharing my passion with the world through the art and products I create and the workshops I run from my home studio.
The Creative Pause
I set up The Creative Pause workshops after chatting to some friends who were interested in learning how I create my pieces. After my first test workshop with that same group of friends I was buzzing. This was the start of something exciting.
They commented on how relaxing the session was. We didn’t concentrate on technique, it was just getting together, enjoying a glass of wine, providing a safe relaxing space and bucket loads of inspiration and encouragement. After a few other test workshops THE CREATIVE PAUSE was born. And now you can experience that same feeling of relaxation, time for yourself, tap into your creativity without rules, no judgement here.

Original art & prints
I love creating individual pieces in a variety of mediums, usually acrylic or watercolour. They are all about colour, texture and movement. From a mini piece to the large, there is something for everyone. Most of the time I just sell the originals but also look out for any limited edition print runs.
Greetings cards
Either original one off cards, or a limited print run, check out my store for a regular update of what is new!
Teatowels
I often get my patterns digitally printed onto teatowels. Check my shop for current stock. If you attend a workshop you can also ask to have one of your pieces made into a teatowel.
