Acrylic abstract art workshop
Abstract art can be so much fun and very freeing especially if you think you aren’t creative. Anything goes so grab your favourite colours and a brush and get stuck in!
❋ Inspiration, hints & tipsThis session is packed with inspiration from the many art books I have available, to magazine cut outs and my own art. Look for colours and patterns you like - inspiration is everywhere. I will also provide a few hints and tips on what techniques you could try using with the acrylic paint.
❋ Group funIt's very inspiring to see what others are creating and if you are on a group session working together you’ll have so much fun working on your piece.
❋ The workshopWe will use acrylic paint on either paper or canvas in this workshop along with brushes, dabbers and cardboard pieces. Plenty of opportunity to practice first before creating your final piece or pieces. Or perhaps you’re happy to play on the paper and explore colours and patterns.
❋ A Supportive SpaceThere is absolutely no right or wrong on this workshop. You put those colours together you think will clash. Sweep that neon pink across your page. Add a dash of glitter and away you go. Create whatever you want - see where your heart takes you.
